About us

XploreNordfjord is a local family-run business owned by Arild Hoddevik, who also runs Bilpartner Vest AS, a local car workshop and dealership here in Nordfjordeid.

When cruise tourism started arriving in 2019, Arild began offering car rentals to visitors wanting to explore the area at their own pace. Since then, we’ve welcomed countless happy customers, and taken valuable feedback from the few who had suggestions, shaping our service into what it is today.

Today, Arild rents out cars directly from the harbour, with the friendly help of his sister Hanne, who makes sure everything runs smoothly for our guests.
