About us

We are a local family-run business based in Nordfjord, founded by Arild Hoddevik, who also owns Bilpartner Vest AS — a local car workshop and dealership in Nordfjordeid.

Back in 2019, when cruise tourism first started growing in our region, we saw that many visitors wanted more freedom than traditional bus tours could offer. That was the beginning of XploreNordfjord.

​

What started with a small car rental service in Nordfjordeid has gradually grown thanks to valuable feedback from hundreds of happy guests over the years. Listening to our customers has helped shape the service we offer today.

Today, we provide rental cars directly from both Nordfjordeid and Olden cruise ports, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the very best of Nordfjord at their own pace.

As a family-run business, we care deeply about offering a personal and flexible service. Arild runs the daily operations together with his sister Hanne, and together we work hard to make sure every guest has a smooth, easy and memorable experience with us.
